Grammy 2008 Nominations – Henta’s album ‘Daisy Dancing’ has made it into the overall Grammy Nominations Selections for ‘best pop album’ 2008 and her song ’so loved’ has made it into the ‘best female vocal performance’ 2008.
“Nothing quite like’ has been included in the fourth volume of a Benefits CD in an ongoing CD compilation series that generates money to house, feed, and find homes for wayward pets.
Henta’s songs now available for download through Nimbit on her music page. Please support her work by using this site. CDs can still be purchased through CD baby but this facility will also be available through Nimbit in due course.
Henta continues to teach children to play the piano and express themselves through music and songwriting in Seattle. Please contact her for futher information.

‘Nothing quite like’, from Daisy Dancing, received an award in the Pop category of the UK Songwriting Contest 2008 which received over 6,200 entries

‘So Loved’ from Daisy Dancing was placed in the Beat Marketing ‘Hear it Here’ Vol 36 distributed to 1200 cafes and coffee houses across the United States during September 2008
Henta provided a voice-over for Drum DJ’s TimeWarp intro
Henta has been working with Musical Minds Piano Keyboards Club who bring electric piano keyboards to schools and give kids an opportunity to learn to play their favorite tunes and melodies, from radio hits to movie and television theme songs. Check out the link for more details about Musical Minds.

Henta has finally finished “Daisy Dancing”, her 2nd album, after spending just over a year in Seattle and many hours mixing and mastering with Laz Harris. Please keep checking the website for updates on CD release date, which is scheduled for the beginning of March, followed shortly by a CD Release Party in Seattle.

Henta has recently contributed a track called ‘Mercy mercy’ to Karuna Recordings’ debut release coming out this summer, MyGlobal Lounge is a Mix CD of Ethnic Fusion Lounge Grooves by emerging producers found on MySpace and mixed by Dj Muad’deep. This eclectic mix of Eastern and Western soundscapes coming together harmoniously is a reflection of the artists shared vision of global unity. These artists are collecting no licensing fees or royalties until their shared goal to raise $20,000.00 USD for the Breakthrough organization (a Member of the Clinton Global Initiative) is met or exceeded. Breakthrough is a international human rights organization that uses media, education and pop culture to promote values of dignity, equality and justice.
Henta wins second place in Electronic Mantra’s Synthesizer Contest with her entry called ‘Butterfly’ which can be heard on the Podsafe Music Network
Henta will be collaborating with Kevin Sawka, who will be remixing one of her tracks called ‘nothing quite like’ which can presently be heard on Soundclick.com
General 2007
Henta is presently working on her second album in Seattle, consisting of rhythmical and melodical downtempo, ambient and acoustic heartfelt songs, some of which are collaborations with artists like David Miles Huber,
Marcell Marias and Ludington GT.

2006 – the year Henta moved to Seattle
November
Henta sold her home in Guildford, UK and moved to Seattle to go and stay with her good friend Ludington GT.
August
Henta performed with Ludington GT at Center Camp at Burning Man in the US.
June
Henta performed with Seattle’s LudingtonGT at Critical Mass in Seattle on the 23rd of June and met David Miles Huber for the first time.
