Piano Teaching
Henta is a kind and patient person and wishes to bring out the best in her students. She teaches basic theory and technique for the piano, which includes learning about melody, rhythm and reading music. However her main aim and passion is to encourage creativity and fun during the lesson by also teaching well known pop songs and kids’ tunes, as well as classical pieces, or a song of choice. Many children learn to play by ear during the process, as well as reading music and some just enjoy writing their own songs which of course is very exciting and something she greatly encourages.
Songwriting and Recording
If a child is keen to compose their own music, however simple, she very much enjoys encouraging this kind of creativity, as it’s something she learned to do from an early age. However now she has the ability to record her songs and can also do this for her students.
The process would involve Henta recording a student’s music at her home and she can also record some vocals if this is something a student really enjoys doing or just wants to try as an experiment.
At the end of the process, Henta can then mix the song and burn a customised CD for you to keep as a memento of your child’s learning. The recording process is something that can either happen very slowly over time, when the student feels comfortable or right from the start if they already have songs they have composed. Either way, it should be a fun experience and a great outlet for creative expression and confidence building.
